Educational Travel Conference
Posted on Thursday, April 7th 2011 - 2:13 PM by Christina McFaul

This past February 15 - 19 ,2011 Journey 360 Degrees had the privilege and honor of engaging, participating and assisting members of this society. Our program of "Charting a course for your future," workshop was a big success at the conference according to those that attended, and we would like to thank all of our participants who joined us for a fun, creative, and thought-provoking session.

A special acknowledgement to Marcia Selva of Global Spectrum Travel who is a pioneer in travel to Asia and leading the way in Voluntourism in that region.
She was the first US based company to operate in Vietnam after normalization of that country. Her expertise, passion, and action in elevating a region and providing much needed humanitarian support are enduring leadership qualities. We look forward to a collaborative relationship with your team.

We also would like to thank Gina Carmo from Inspire Travel for thinking of us for your next SITE event and continuing the conversation on enduring vision models. Your smile brightened the room and your enthusiasm lights the way for others to emulate.

Finally, David Clemmons, founder of voluntourism.org, thank you for the insightful session on destination reciprocity. Your lesson of taking small steps to create a movement in Voluntourism, reminds us all that patience and vision will help to create a revolution for generations to come. We look forward to meeting again, sharing our thoughts and collaborating on future endeavors.
